A day in your life as a Digital Channels Operations Specialist
Under the direction of the Manager, this position provides daily operations support for the Digital Channels Division by performing reporting and project tracking services; supporting the payments business; ensuring the ATM billing and ATM/debit invoice procedures are followed; and assisting with ATM contract administration. If applicable or appropriate, assists with the business unit’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act. In addition, this position is responsible for demonstrating the Excellence in Sales/Service (ESS) philosophy by participating in and practicing ESS disciplines and behaviors.

 

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…

  • Division Operational Reporting & Project Tracking.  Works with management to create, modify, and report relevant dashboard metrics to monitor and communicate Digital Channels strategy results.  Responsible for coordinating and consolidating the quarterly enterprise Payment Risk Dashboard and completing and providing commentary on division dashboards. Tracks and communicates division strategic project updates as assigned. Collects data and completes quarterly Visa Operating Certificate and other required vendor or network reporting requirements.
  • Payments Operational Support.  Supports Debit & Digital Payments business with daily operational support of debit rewards program.  Completes daily operational and compliance requirements for Bill Pay service and any new services to ensure regulatory and network rules compliance.
  • ATM Billings and ATM/Debit Invoices.  Completes monthly ATM billing procedures accurately and according to schedule.  This includes managing the systems, communications, and payment or invoicing to retail and credit union business partners.  Validates accuracy and completeness of ATM and Debit & Digital Payment business invoices and manages Corporate Sourcing and payment processes.  Identifies new ways to improve administrative procedures to streamlines business processes.  
  • ATM Contract Administration.  Collaborates with ATM manager to ensure that ATM contracts are updated, documented, and completed in accordance with the Bank’s and ATM department’s strategic objectives. Manages the Harborflex ATM contract inventory database records and reports are regularly updated and provide easy access to actionable information.   Updates ATM profitability database and reports on a regular basis.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of related work experience in increasingly responsible positions in financial services, accounting, finance industry or equivalent field. 
  • Prior experience with data analytics, accounts payable/receivable, project/process management, and/or vendor/contract administration or equivalent work experience required. 

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) or similar software.
  • Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems. 
  • Must be comfortable with intermediate/advanced work sheet functions/use and use of Access objects, views, features, etc.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking, be analytical, detail oriented and organized.
  • Able to meet fixed and changing deadlines, handle multiple priorities and follow up consistently.
  • Must be an effective and efficient team player with good interpersonal skills, who can also resolve problems independently.
  • Should be able to analyze different situations quickly and identify solutions and alternatives.
  • Must be flexible and able to work with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels.
  • Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed.
