A day in your life as a Marketing Administrator- Digital Marketing:

Under the direction of the Brand, Advertising and Promotions Program Manager, the Marketing Administrator – Online Advertising is responsible for development of the online advertising/media plan and implementation of plan initiatives to drive quality visitors to online and offline channels in support of corporate and department objectives.  This position is responsible for developing and managing an online advertising/media plan and traffic acquisition strategy, tracking and analyzing metrics to improve execution of online Marketing programs. This position also assists business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.  In addition, this position is responsible for demonstrating the Excellence in Sales/Service (ESS) philosophy by participating in and practicing ESS disciplines and behaviors.

 

 

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…

  • Assists in developing an annual online advertising and media plan and implements plan initiatives that meet the company’s strategic initiatives and increase unique visitors to the company website.  Responsible for traffic acquisition and unique visitor growth to the website. Aligns online Marketing strategies with Marketing Action Plans and the Internet Department objectives effectively.  Responsible for tracking, analyzing, and communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to accomplish stated objectives and optimize channel ROI.
  • Assists in implementing an online advertising and media campaign and sales programs based on company objectives to grow awareness and adoption of banking services. Works with business units to understand their business goals and develops a plan to help achieve their goals in the online space.
  • Assists with Web Data Analysis that will provide the groundwork for, and actively assist, the Marketing and Internet Channel team in making informed, data driven decisions. Generates aggregated data reports from multiple sources and in a timely manner to help drive key business decisions and proactively identifying areas for improvement. Analyzes campaign ROI and makes strategic recommendations.
  • Assists in implementing production of marketing projects, including advertising, digital marketing, and collateral. Follows up on projects through meetings and timely communications with product and line of business managers. Executes projects based upon an approved project plan, and provides ongoing project support through all phases of production with agencies, printers, and other vendors.
  • Assists in preparing and managing the online advertising budget.  Accounts for project costs.  Develops and presents business cases.
  • Assists in maintaining market intelligence on competitive offerings from both Bank and non-Bank competitors.
  • Assists in ensuring the compliance of products to legal, regulatory and internal standards.  Oversees initiatives to streamline processes and reduce associated product costs.

 


Qualifications

Education: 

  • Four year college degree from an accredited educational institution or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum two years related work experience.
  • Demonstrated Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience in managing Pay-per-click Campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of onsite and offsite Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Online Display Advertising, Social marketing, and Web Analytics. 
  • eCommerce experience required.
  • Minimum two years experience in managing complex and multiple projects, vendors, staff and directing operations preferred.

 

Technical Skills: 

  • This position requires use of a personal computer and other standard office equipment (typewriter, fax, copier, calculator and telephone). 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Internet Explorer, Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of website analytics tools including Adobe Omniture and Google Analytics required. 
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus.

 

Other Qualifications: 

  • Ability to work within demanding deadlines. 
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation, inter-personal and analytic skills.   
  • Must be detailed oriented with the ability to work across departments and divisions and build/maintain strong working relationships. 
  • Strong report writing and organizational skills with the ability to identify process improvements and provide strategic recommendations.  
  • Strong understanding of digital performance marketing and online traffic acquisition. 
  • Must be able to provide own transportation or to operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license, and ability to commute and arrive at intended destination in a timely manner and/or as required. 
  • Travels by air as required.
