A day in your life as a Lease Servicing Assistant:

Under the direction of the Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing a variety of customer service and clerical tasks required to meet leasing unit objectives.  If applicable or appropriate, assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to, those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.  In addition, this position is responsible for demonstrating the Excellence in Sales/Service (ESS) philosophy by participating in and practicing ESS disciplines and behaviors.

 

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…

  • Provides timely and appropriate customer Service for lease clients, always communicating in a professional manner.    Services leases by: answering customer product and service questions, maintaining customer records, mailing welcome letters and payment coupons, and processing lease documentation such as lease payments, lease payoffs, lease terminations, lease buy outs, lease auction, etc.
  • Works with other Bank staff in order to service lease clients.  Answers questions from internal clients including product and service questions, provides documentation such as lease payments, lease payoffs, lease termination dates, lease buy outs, lease auction, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining, enhancing and deepening relationships with assigned Dealer clients as well as developing new business.
  • Provides team support and assists in cross training of staff.
  • Maintains full knowledge of products and services. 

 

 


Qualifications

Education: 

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum one year of customer service or equivalent work experience. 
  • Auto finance experience preferred.

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel or Power Point) or similar software. 
  • Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software.

 

Other Job Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must be analytical, accurate, detail oriented and organized. 
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and a large volume of work. 
  • Should have good interpersonal and math skills. 
  • Must be flexible in performance of tasks in rotational assignments. 
  • Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned. 
  • Must be able to provide own transportation or to operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license, and able to commute and arrive at intended destination in a timely manner and/or as required. 
  • Must be able to push/lift 25 lbs.
