Job Details

Seeking to hire a Sales Representative based on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Executive Department is responsible for the direction and coordination of the corporate Operational and Strategic Plans. Sales Representatives are expected to align with the company directives and provide enthusiastic support for the company’s marketing and sales objectives.

The position encompasses the following duties:

  • Work with Cartridge World Hawaii, a sister company of Direct Business Connections, Inc., to accomplish corporate objectives and ultimately, increase sales.
  • Cartridge World Hawaii specializes in providing remanufactured ink and toner cartridges at unbeatable prices. Representatives are expected to learn all necessary specifications of the business and products to accurately and knowledgeably represent the company.
  • Study and understand the existing marketing plan, customer lists, and objectives.
  • Strategize the most effective methods for obtaining and retaining new business accounts.
  • Research market trends, collect and analyze customer feedback, provide best recommendations for future sales endeavors.
  • Cold-call, canvas, and visit with potential clients.
  • Exude an enthusiastic, energetic, and professional demeanor. 

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing is preferable. 
  • 2-3 years in sales or marketing position required.  
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract and the ability to drive safely and read maps.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Able to create sales logs, graphs, and written summaries reflecting company performance.
  • Proven oral communication and training skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
