A day in your life as a Workflow Assistant

Under the supervision of the Manager/Supervisor/Workflow Coordinator, this position is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily workflow of assigned section to ensure goals, objectives and deadlines are met. Ensures established procedures and service standards are adhered to and productivity averages are maintained.  Assists in delivering reliable, professional, Quality Service to our customers. Assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.  In addition, this position is responsible for demonstrating the Excellence in Sales/Service (ESS) philosophy by participating in and practicing ESS disciplines and behaviors.

 

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…

  • Controls, assigns and monitors daily workflow within assigned section(s) to ensure established deadlines are met. 
  • Performs routine operational duties to support objectives. 
  • Ensures established processing and security procedures are adhered to.  
  • Assists/ researches/ resolves/responds to all customers inquires and notification of deposit adjustments, providing Quality Service.
  • Reports performance issues requiring further action and may assist with input on progress reviews and resumes of interviews.
  • Documents/prepares/submits assigned reports in accordance to established deadlines.
  • Provides Team Support, remains flexible to assist without hesitation, with frequent interruptions. 
  • May provide assistance in various areas within the department.
  • Displays ability to communicate with internal/external customers & staff in a professional manner.
  • May perform Teller responsibilities of processing transactions/orders, cash balancing and adhering to cash handling guidelines.
  • Responsible for making sound credit decisions within assigned limits.
  • Cross-sells bank products and services.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION: 

  • High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE: 

  • One (1) year banking experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: 

  • Ability to use a personal computer and is proficient on Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, and Excel.

OTHER JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Displays good written/verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to perform independently with frequent interruptions. 
  • Required to stand for extended periods of time. 
  • Steel Toe shoes and ear protection required. 
  • Must be able to lift/transport up to 50 lbs. 
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and shift-work processing.
